The arrangement of the subject-matter and the general plan of the book are excellent, and it compares favourably with other works of its kind. The author has wisely omitted details of apparatus and technique. The description of lesions affecting the different anatomical systems is preceded in every instance by an analysis of the appearance produced by the normal structure, in the hope that a basis for logical interpretation may be provided.
